About Dr. Hirsh

Founding physician of The Hirsh Center, Dr. Marc J. As the centennial president of the Palm Beach County Medical Society, an executive board member of the Florida Medical Association’s Political Action Committee, and a clinical affiliate assistant professor at Florida Atlantic University College of Medicine, giving back to our medical community is Dr. Hirsh’s focus. As a nationally recognized musculoskeletal ultrasound instructor, Dr. Hirsh is a leader in the field of rheumatology and non-surgical orthopedics. Dedicated to providing relief and improving the quality of life for patients, Dr. Hirsh successfully treats those suffering from musculoskeletal conditions, illness, and injury.

Born and raised in Miami, Dr. Hirsh graduated Phi Beta Kappa with his Bachelor of Science degree and his medical degree from the University of Florida. After an internship at Northwestern University in Chicago, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami. He served on the faculty for one year as chief resident before completing his subspecialty training in rheumatology at the University of Miami.

Dr. Hirsh is passionate about providing top-notch, advanced care to our patients. This includes ensuring that he and our practice meet the most stringent medical requirements. Dr. Hirsh is individually certified in musculoskeletal ultrasound by the only two national credentialing bodies: the American College of Rheumatology and the Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement. In 2010, he spearheaded our practice to become the third clinic in the country and first clinic in Florida to earn accreditation in musculoskeletal ultrasound by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. He continues to oversee the integrity of ultrasound within our community by acting as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine.

Dr. Hirsh uses advanced technologies, regenerative treatments, and compassionate healthcare to provide relief for many people. He treasures time spent with his wife and finds several weekends a year to camp with his three sons.
